Intended purpose
A precise description of who the companion is for, what it records and where its responsibility ends.
Version dated 18 September 2026
Purpose
Quiet GLP-1 Companion is a personal record-keeping tool for adults using a GLP-1 medicine prescribed by a qualified healthcare professional. It lets a person record information they already know or observe, including their prescribed schedule, actual injection dates, eating occasions, subjective wellbeing scores, personal notes and questions for appointments.
It can organise those entries into neutral summaries and comparisons to support memory and conversation with a healthcare professional.
Intended user
The intended user is an adult keeping their own personal record. It is not designed for clinicians to monitor patients, for carers to make treatment decisions, or for use without an appropriate prescription and professional guidance.
It is not designed to
- recommend, calculate or change a medication dose;
- tell a person when medication should be taken;
- diagnose, interpret, triage or assess symptoms;
- determine whether treatment is safe or effective;
- predict outcomes, weight change or side effects;
- replace the medicine leaflet, prescriber, pharmacist or emergency service.
How comparisons should be read
Any comparison shown is a mathematical summary of the user’s own entries. It does not establish that a medicine or dose caused a change. Sleep, illness, food, stress and many other factors may affect how a period felt.
Geographic scope
The record-keeping functions may be used anywhere, but the current help links and medicine references are UK-focused. Users elsewhere should consult the official information and healthcare services for their country.
For urgent symptoms or concerns, do not rely on this site. Contact an appropriate healthcare professional or emergency service.
